About the Author

Panos Gkilis is the author of The Mirelands, a multi-book epic fantasy saga produced as ebooks, print books, and full-cast dramatized audio by BedVibe Studios. It begins as PG-13 epic fantasy with coming-of-age romance and darkens into darker fantasy and cosmic horror from Book Five onward. He also writes the Norwegian Grammar language-learning guides — complete A1–C1 references for serious learners.

The Mirelands grew out of decades inside tabletop fantasy. Panos spent years as a Dungeon Master and player, steeped in the genre’s great worlds — Tolkien’s Middle-earth, the Forgotten Realms, Mystara, Ravenloft, and Planescape — devouring their lore long before building his own. That grounding in deep, rule-bound worldbuilding is the backbone of the saga.

His other lifelong craft is voice. A musician and former black & death metal vocalist, Panos brings a performer’s range and intensity to narration. Alongside traditional narration, he developed The Mirelands as cinematic, full-cast dramatized audio.

Panos is the founder of BedVibe Studios, an independent digital voice and audiobook production studio specializing in expressive voice systems and full-cast dramatized audio productions.
