1) Login & starter tokens

• Click Login (top right).
• Logging in gives you 1,000 starter tokens.
• Your balance is shown at the top (and in the golden wreath).

Tokens are required for generation. BedVibe estimates cost before you generate.

2) The model

• It supports multiple languages, emotional delivery, vocal effects, and custom voices.
• If a voice sounds off, try adjusting Flow, or Chaos.

Some voices are naturally more neutral, while others are more expressive.

3) Basic flow

• Choose a Language.
• Choose a Voice.
• Choose an Emotion (if available for that voice).
• Type your text using the correct alphabet for the chosen language.
• Press Generate.

4) Language mismatch & translation

If you change the selected language after writing text, BedVibe can prompt you: Keep as-is or Translate.

• Keep as-is: the voice reads your original text, but with the selected language accent.
• Translate: your text is translated into the selected language, and spoken in that language.

Translating repeatedly across many languages can drift meaning. Best accuracy is usually English ↔ other language.

5) Voices & Custom Voices

• BedVibe offers multiple built-in voices.
• You can also upload a reference audio to create a Custom Voice.
• Custom voices are saved to your account and are private (not public).

6) Emotions & vocal effects

BedVibe supports direct emotion selection and separate insertable vocal effects for more expressive output.

Emotion selection

You can choose one of the available emotions from the emotion dropdown before generating speech. These emotions control the main delivery style of the selected speaking voice.

• Neutral
• Angry
• Happy
• Scared
• Shouting
• Whispering

Note: emotions are selected from the interface dropdown. BedVibe does not currently use inline emotion tags such as (angry) or (whispering) inside the text.

Vocal effects

BedVibe also supports insertable vocal effects inside the text. These are separate from the main speaking voice and can be inserted from another available voice or effect source.

How vocal effects work

• The main line can be spoken by one selected voice.
• A vocal effect can be inserted from another voice/source.
• This means the speaking voice and the inserted effect do not have to be the same.

How to insert a vocal effect

• Right-click inside the text input.
• Select the voice/effect source you want to insert from, such as Jana, Beast, or another available entry.
• Choose the effect you want.
• The effect token is inserted into the text at the cursor position.

Examples of vocal effects

Available effects can include reactions or performance-style sounds such as moan, gasp, laugh, breath, whisper effect, and similar expressive inserts depending on your setup.

Example behavior

• Maria can speak the main sentence.
• A Beast effect can be inserted inside that same text line.
• The final output combines the main spoken line with the inserted effect token behavior.

Tip: think of emotions as the main delivery mode of the line, while vocal effects are extra inserted performance elements that can come from a different source.

7) Tokens, cost, and HD

• Each token equals one syllable of speech (not one character). Example: 100 syllables = 100 tokens.
• The pill shows the cost before you generate.
• When you press Generate, tokens are subtracted.
• HD on costs double on the Free plan.
• For Plus and Pro users, HD is included (no extra token cost).

The gold token button next to Generate lets you purchase more tokens.

8) Generation controls (Temperature, Speed, Flow & Chaos)

These controls shape how the model delivers speech during generation (prosody and stability).

• Temperature: variation in delivery/pronunciation. Lower = more stable; higher = more creative/variable.
• Speed: speaking rate.
• Flow: pacing and rhythm (prosody). Higher values tend to sound faster and more fluid; lower values slower and more deliberate.
• Chaos: controlled expressive irregularity. Low chaos sounds stable; higher chaos adds more expressive variation.

Generation controls affect synthesis when you press Generate. They do not change Replay by themselves.

9) After effects (Brightness & Space)

After effects are applied to your generated audio and can be adjusted before or after generation. They are especially useful with Replay for quick tuning.

• Brightness shifts tone colour: left = warmer/more bass, right = brighter/cleaner.
• Space adds room feel and stereo widening (more ambience).

Replay is free — you can adjust after effects and replay again without spending more tokens.

10) Special effects

BedVibe supports insertable voice effects that can be placed inside your text.

• Right-click inside the text box to open the effects menu.
• You can choose an effect source separately from the main speaking voice.
• Effects can add breaths, reactions, raspiness, intensity, and other vocal traits.
• Some advanced effects are reserved for Plus and Pro.

11) Replay & Download

• Replay plays the last generated audio again — free (no extra token charge).
• Download saves the last generated audio to your device.

Tip: If you just want to listen again, use Replay instead of generating again.

12) Daily bonus

Once every 24 hours (login required), clicking the BedVibe logo can add a small bonus to your account.

13) Audiobook Studio Editor (Pro Users Only)

The Audiobook Studio Editor is a Pro-only feature for creating multi-voice productions: dialogues, monologues, narrations, and ads — with advanced tools.

What you can do inside Studio

• Multi-block writing: split your script into blocks and assign different voices/emotions/languages per block.
• Dialogue creation: build conversations between characters easily.
• Batch generation: generate entire scripts in one go.
• Voice effects: add inline vocal trait effects per block.
• Ambient & background FX: winds, room ambience, background noise layers, and more.
• Projects: save and reload your work without starting over.

Studio is intended for serious long-form work and production-style audio.

14) Subscriptions

• Free: Login adds a starter token balance of 1,000 tokens, HD costs extra.
• Plus: €5/month, 13,000 tokens per month, HD included.
• Pro: €10/month, 30,000 tokens per month, HD included, Audiobook Studio Editor unlocked.

Exact numbers may change as we tune pricing — the UI always shows your real balance and real costs.

15) Lore

At the bottom of the main page you can read the real backstory of the voices — who they are, how we met them, and how they entered the BedVibe dataset. Some voices come with backstory context you may enjoy exploring.
