These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services of BedVibe Studios ("we", "us", "our"), including bedvibe.studio and its subdomains. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Our services

BedVibe Studios is an independent digital studio producing audiobooks, ebooks, voice technology, and interactive media. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Purchases, payments & refunds

Paid products and subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase and may change. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.

Refunds. Our products are digital and are delivered or performed immediately. By purchasing and then downloading, accessing, or otherwise using them, you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal where the law permits this waiver. Accordingly:

• Ebooks, audiobooks, and other downloadable files are non-refundable once the download has begun.
• Datasets are non-refundable once downloaded — a downloaded copy cannot be returned or verified as deleted.
• AI-generated content and token- or credit-based services are non-refundable for any tokens or credits that have been used, because the computational service has already been performed.
• Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time to stop future renewals; amounts already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable.

The above applies except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us and we will review it in good faith.

4. Intellectual property

All content we create — including our software, voice models, websites, and creative works such as the The Mirelands franchise and its audiobooks, ebooks, art, and characters — is owned by BedVibe Studios and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

5. Content you submit

If you submit text, files, manuscripts, or other material (for example, through our intake forms or voice-generation tools), you confirm that you own it or have the rights to use it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You grant us the limited licence needed to process and deliver the service you requested. You remain responsible for the content you provide.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use our services for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Do not use our voice technology to impersonate a real person without consent, or to create misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent material.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.

7. Third-party services

Our services rely on third parties (such as Stripe, Supabase, AWS, and Netlify). Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BedVibe Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the services in a way that may cause harm or legal risk. You may stop using the services at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, where BedVibe Studios is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
